The lockclip has a sandwich design, with titanium outer plates giving strength and coverage to internal components. Injection molded nylon shells provide internal structure, and external ergonomics. Colour of the nylon parts can be specified with a broad range of options. The double acting lock is powered by 2 stainless steel springs, and rivets are also specified as high grade stainless.

The clip is designed for easy manufacturing assembly and uses a number of OEM parts. lockclip's logo is laser etched into the titanium side plates and these 3mm plates are stamped out of high grade sheet.

lockclip has been tested to comply with AS2227-1992 Yachting Harnesses and Lines. lockclip has an international patent pending PCT/AU2004/001685, and a design registration has been granted.
